VA Groups From the Future. For the Present.

About us

One group.
Many disciplines.

VA Groups is a family of businesses working across creative production, education, retail and property. Each runs with its own specialists and its own market.

What the group is for

What the businesses share is an operating belief — that ideas move faster when creative craft and commercial discipline sit in the same room.

Most creative work fails commercially and most commercial work fails creatively, and both usually for the same reason: the people responsible for each never meet. VA Groups is structured so that they do. A film gets made by people who know what it costs to run. A property mandate gets handled by people who understand that presentation is not decoration.

Specialist businesses

Nine businesses, four sectors. Creative production through VA Studios, VA Comics and VA Classtoon Broadcast. Learning technology through VA Edtech. Retail through VA Fabrics and VA Retail. Services through VA Experiences, VA Realty and VA Lifestyle. None of them is a side project of another — each has its own team and its own market.

India and the UK

Operating bases in Chennai and Chesterfield, serving national and international markets. In practice that means two things: an international client has a counterpart in their working hours, and the group can move work between the two markets without treating either as remote.

World-class content at the core

The creative businesses exist to produce original characters, films and formats that resonate with global audiences and earn widespread acclaim — not content that works locally and travels badly. Our animation has run in the national press and on national television; our posters have been launched by some of Indian cinema's best-known filmmakers.

How the businesses connect

  • Characters designed at VA Comics are animated at VA Studios.
  • Those properties reach young audiences through VA Classtoon Broadcast.
  • VA Edtech supplies the pedagogical structure behind the learning content.
  • VA Experiences handles the catering and the cars.
  • VA Fabrics and VA Realty run on the same delivery standard, in different markets.

Common questions

Before you get in touch.

Is VA Groups one company or several?

VA Groups is a group of nine businesses. Each has its own specialists and serves its own market, under a shared operating standard and a single point of contact.

Why does a film studio sit in the same group as a property consultancy?

Because the group is built around operating discipline rather than a single sector. The creative businesses feed each other directly — characters, animation and broadcast — while the commercial businesses run on the same standards of delivery and client relationship.

Where does VA Groups operate?

From a head office in Kodambakkam, Chennai, and a UK base at Barlborough Links, Chesterfield, Derbyshire. The two bases mean enquiries in both Indian and European hours reach someone the same day.

Can one brief involve more than one business?

Yes, and it often does. An event can carry film produced by VA Studios; a children's property can involve VA Comics, VA Studios, VA Edtech and VA Classtoon Broadcast together. Send one brief and it gets routed internally.
