The idea

Children do not separate learning from entertainment; adults do. Classtoon is built on that — content where the thing that makes a child keep watching is the same thing that teaches them, rather than a lesson bolted onto the end of a cartoon.

The Grandys

The Grandys is the first original property from VA Classtoon Broadcast — a character-led edutainment show designed to travel across broadcast, digital and licensing. It is the proof of the group model: characters designed at VA Comics, animated at VA Studios, distributed through Classtoon.

The slate

Seven character properties sit alongside The Grandys, each built around a figure from India's scientific and historical record and pitched at a young audience:

• Chanakya and His Amazing Friends — strategy and good sense, told through a group of friends.
• OGBG — Brahma Gupta, the Original Goat, on the mathematics of zero and beyond.
• Jansi Jr — courage and conviction, with a young Rani of Jhansi.
• Jr. Scientist Sushruta — the father of surgery, at kid scale.
• Maths Master Baudhayana — geometry from the man who got there before Pythagoras.
• Chotta Aryabhata — astronomy and arithmetic, across the solar system.

Where this connects

Classtoon is the distribution end of the group's creative chain. VA Comics builds the characters. VA Studios animates them. VA Edtech supplies the pedagogical structure that keeps the learning real rather than decorative. Classtoon is where a young audience meets the result.
